Shortcuts

When creating App Pairs in Be nice, you use Android Shortcuts. There are two types:

• Pinned Shortcuts are icons placed directly on your home screen, separate from the main app icon. Some custom launchers may not allow pinning.

• Dynamic Shortcuts are system-managed links. They appear in two places:
  

  • On your home screen
    

    Long-press the Be nice icon to reveal a menu of your app pairs. You can usually drag these out to create standalone icons.

  • Inside the app
    

    Be nice reads these shortcuts directly from the system to display them on the Apps list page.

Starting with version 1.9.9, Be nice can be your default home app. In this mode, only dynamic links will be used to create app pairs.
