Shortcuts

When creating App Pairs in Be nice, you use Android Shortcuts. When Be nice isn’t your home app, you decide how app pairs appear: pinned on the home screen, dynamic shortcuts, or both. When Be nice is your home app, app pairs are always created as dynamic shortcuts.

Android shortcut types

• Pinned Shortcuts are icons placed directly on your home screen, separate from the main app icon. Some custom launchers may not allow pinning.

• Dynamic Shortcuts are system-managed links. They appear in two places:
  

  • On your home screen
    

    Long-press the Be nice icon to reveal a menu of your app pairs. You can usually drag these out to create standalone icons.

  • Inside the app
    

    Be nice reads these shortcuts directly from the system to display them on the Apps list page.
